A very special and long discontinued release from the Balblair distillery in the Highlands, when the range still feature specific vintages. This incredibly well-aged whisky was distilled in 1969, matured for 43 years in ex-bourbon American oak casks and bottled in 2012. At the time, the distilled was still malting its own barley on site and the stills were coal-fired. Only 999 bottles were produced, with each bottled being individually numbered. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured, and bottled at a cask strength of 41.4%. (Bottle size 750ml.)
