Every order is packed by our team at our store in Hyde Park and shipped via The Courier Guy, a reputable South African courier company established in 2000. In all the time we've been sending out orders, we haven't had a single broken bottle or an undelivered parcel!
It is worth mentioning that as a business we generally process dozens of orders each day destined across the country. So if you are uneasy about buying whisky online, you really don't have to worry with us; our system only allows you to order a product if we have physical stock of it, our orders are packed securely to avoid breakages and are insured (at our own cost) should anything go wrong. We also process orders as soon as received, meaning you get your whisky very fast - there is a reason our online store has a 5-star rating!
We deliver to South Africa only. If you live within the borders of our beautiful country, we can get your whisky to you!
If you do not have a South African delivery address, then please do not simply order online and then contact us to try assist you. Rather, please contact us first and we will do our best to try and help. If it becomes necessary to process a refund for an international order, due to the lack of a South African delivery address, we will charge a 10% refund processing fee.
Shipping for all orders is charged at a flat rate of R120, no matter how many whiskies, the size or weight of your order. Orders valued at R3,000 or more qualify for free shipping.
With every order placed you will receive a unique waybill number that allows you to track the delivery progress online. We encourage you to use this link first if you would like to find out where your order is, else if you have not yet receive the waybill number, then your whisky is still with us, and you are welcome to email or call us for any assistance.
Delivery times are between 2-3 business days, depending on your location within South Africa to major metropolitan areas. (However, just between you and us, we generally deliver within 1-2 days to major cities.) Please note that delivery time can be an extra day if you live in a smaller town.
If it is more convenient to collect from either our Hyde Park retail store, or our Morningside bar in Johannesburg, you can choose to do so for free during the checkout process. We will email/call you to inform you once your order is ready for collection.
