A permanent and well-aged expression from the Balvenie distillery in Speyside, first released in the mid-90s. Matured for 21 years in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in port pipes. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Rich dried fruits, prunes, raisins and sultanas, with sweet notes of toffee and vanilla.
Palate: Sweet and succulent, with notes of warming spice, rich red fruit jam and vanilla, and hints of milk chocolate.
Finish: Long and warm, with hints of cloves and spiced orange.
