Really great sherry flavours
"Really great sherry flavours"

Gets good with time!
"I was combing over the comments section and found myself agreeing with Ramon quite a bit on this one. I was initially at first smell / taste not blown away. But this one really started getting better as time went by to the point where I can say that it is really a bottle I enjoyed! It needs to breath a bit which is something I don't normally suggest and feel that exposure to air / oxygen is something that can / should / will occur naturally. But in this case it just makes it that much more enjoyable (well at least for me)"

A dessert on its own
"A favourite after dinner treat. I find rich, dark chocolate and dark fruit notes with some hazelnut teasing through. Pleasantly smooth and easy drinking."

Allow the bottle to breathe for a month, you'll thank me
"Initially I wasn't too impressed with the Three Wood, though I revisited a dram about two months after first opening the bottle for an evening, and had found that with time the subtleties of the flavours behind the oakiness tend to manifest beautifully. I suggest adding a drop of water and letting rest, to allow for the full flavour and aroma experience."

Surprisingly light on the wood
"This is light years away from the flowery 12yo, although I'd love to see an age statement on the Three Wood as well. Despite its name, it actually has very little wood, instead more ground cinnamon and dark chocolate. If you are a fan of peat, this is a great alternative if you are looking for a break from smoke but still looking for something rich. Would also be keen to see what it can do at higher proof..."

Above average whisky
"A nice whisky, but I struggle to find some depth in it. Very nice color."

Surprisingly Smooth
"Came as part of the lockdown restock special, and found it delightfully appealing. Very easy drinking dram with a slightly sweet and spicy taste. Very yummy indeed"

Interesting and packed with flavour
"Very intense flavour profile for a 43% dram, suprisingly so. The blend of fruits and spice is unlike anything I've had before making for a really unique experience, but I must admit that after the initial surprise I wasn't really a fan of the way all the flavours came together. I think specifically the lemon-forward citrus and underlying green notes threw me off, but that's more my specific taste than an indictment of the whisky."

Sherry and Smooth
"This takes whats great about the 12 and improves on it. Easy drinking, super smooth and love those Sherry flavors throughout"
