A limited edition, small-batch single malt from the Craigellachie distillery in Speyside. Released as part of the Bacardi Global Travel Retail Exceptional Cask Series, a collection of aged single malt bottlings chosen by Dewar’s Master Blender and Malt Master, Stephanie MacLeod. Distilled on 13 April 1993, matured initially in refill and recharred ex-bourbon casks, before being finished in French Sauternes wine casks for just under two years. Bottled at 46%. Nose: A tropical fruit nose.
Palate: A luscious, supple dram with a smooth and graceful mouthfeel that swirls around the palate. There’s hoards of tropical syrupy tinned pineapple, heightened with ripe peaches and apricots.
Finish: Velvety soft, creamy vanilla.
