DESCRIPTION

A limited edition blended Japanese whisky produced by Venture Whisky at the Chichibu distillery in Saitama, Japan. A combination of malt and grain spirits matured in ex-bourbon and sherry casks. These 'blue label' limited releases are much rarer and a marked step up than the standard 'white label' releases (neither of which are available in SA) and often contain very scarce Japanese whisky components. Bottled at 48%.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Honeyed malt, dried apricot, vanilla, light oak and subtle spice.

Palate: Caramel, orchard fruits, gentle spice, soft vanilla and toasted nuts.

Finish: Medium to long, with lingering sweet fruit, delicate oak and subtle warming spice.
