DESCRIPTION
An official single cask release from the Ardnamurchan distillery in the west Highlands. Produced from peated malt that was distilled in 2015, matured for 9 years in first-fill American oak ex-bourbon barrel (200L) and bottled in 2025. Only 257 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured, and bottled at a cask strength of 56.9%.
NOTES FROM THE WB TEAM
This is our second exclusive release from Ardnamurchan, one of Scotland’s most exciting new distilleries, following our bottling under the Adelphi label three years ago. Produced from peated spirit and matured in the same cask type, this release carries an additional three years of maturation compared to the first. It provides an excellent opportunity to explore how the spirit from this young distillery is developing — and the progress is impressive.
