Ardnamurchan Single Malt Whisky

Ardnamurchan is one of Scotland’s most remote modern distilleries, located on the rugged Ardnamurchan peninsula on the west coast of the Highlands. Established in 2014 and owned by respected independent bottler Adelphi, the distillery was designed with a clear long-term vision: to produce characterful, traditionally styled single malt with a focus on provenance, sustainability and transparency.

From the outset, Ardnamurchan has worked with both peated and unpeated spirit, maturing its whisky primarily in high-quality ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, and clearly disclosing cask types, peat levels and spirit composition on every release. Early “Work in Progress” bottlings offered insight into the distillery’s developing style, while more recent age-stated releases reflect the depth and maturity now emerging from their warehouses.

Today, Ardnamurchan has firmly established itself as one of the most exciting new-generation Scottish distilleries, producing coastal single malts, focusing on an accessible core-range, while still experimenting with various cask types and barley varieties.
