DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from the Arran Distillery on the Isle of Arran, independently bottled by South African private cask owners under the name Izinyembezi Zenkosikazi, which translates to Tears of the Queen in isiZulu. Distilled in October 2005, matured in a single sherry cask, and bottled in March 2024. Only 230 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured, and bottled at a cask strength of 55.3%.

This is the third limited edition in the Tears of the Queen South African Artists series, following the Port Charlotte and Bruichladdich releases. The label features artwork by acclaimed SA artist Mary Sibande, titled Wielding the Collision of the Past, Present and Future.
