Released in 2023, this is the flagship expression from the Glenglassaugh distillery in the Highlands. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, and ex-red wine casks, it reflects the distillery's signature coastal style. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 45%.
Nose: Sweet coastal waves of ripe apricot and fig meld with toasted vanilla and tropical flora, carried on a warm ocean breeze.
Palate: Candied pistachio, date and sweet fig roll into waves of morello cherry and whipped cream, infused with fresh coastal air.
Finish: A balanced finish with hints of oak, gentle red wine tannins, and a touch of salty marine character.
