DESCRIPTION

Woodford Reserve Straight Malt Whiskey is a distinctive expression from the Woodford Reserve distillery, first released in 2017 as part of the Distillery Series, before being added to the permanent core range a year later. Showcasing a mashbill led by malted barley (51%) and complemented by corn (47%) and rye (2%). Produced in Kentucky, distilled in traditional copper pot stills and matured in new charred American oak barrels. Bottled at 45.2%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Soft malt sweetness with toasted grain, cocoa, and light caramel, supported by hints of dried fruit, baking spice, and subtle oak.

Palate: Smooth and rounded, showing rich malted barley, milk chocolate, toasted nuts, and gentle spice, with notes of brown sugar and vanilla from the new oak.

Finish: Medium length, warming and dry, with lingering malt, cocoa, light spice, and oak tannin.
