DESCRIPTION

A permanent release from the Amrut distillery in Bengaluru, India, first introduced in 2011. Produced using peated barley imported from Scotland and matured in oak casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTINTG NOTES

Nose: A dry peat reek, old worn leather and hints of citrus and banana.

Taste: Demerara sugar and then a ratching up of the peat notes. Becomes that little bit drier and spicier with time.

Finish: A wonderful depth with a clarity of flavour including butterscotch and vanilla intertwined with the smoky phenols.
