Launched in 2019, Glendalough Pot Still was made from a mash bill of 1-part malted and 2-parts unmalted Irish barley. Distilled in a pot still, although not by Glendalough, but distilled to their specification at an unnamed distillery. Matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished for up to a year in virgin Irish oak casks, made from sustainably felled 140 year old trees from the forests surrounding the distillery. Each bottle is numbered and traceable to each cask and tree it came from. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Sweet and citrus-forward with vanilla, caramel and banana, backed by treacle, light herbal notes and a touch of leathery oak spice.

Palate: Chewy and buttery texture with classic pot still spice cinnamon and nutmeg alongside toffee pears, treacle and toasted oak.

Finish: Long and warming, with creamy vanilla, almond, soft fruit and lingering toasted Irish oak.
