DESCRIPTION

A single grain whiskey from the Glendalough distillery in Ireland, released in their Single Cask series. Matured for 3 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel and then finished in French oak calvados XO cask which had previously held apple brandy. Only 366 bottles were produced. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Floral with vanilla, honey and orchard fruits.

Palate: Butterscotch, toffee, stewed apples and pears, cinnamon and honey.

Finish: Green apple skins and woody spices.
