DESCRIPTION:
Hazendal Estate Chenin Blanc 2025 is a 100% Chenin Blanc from Hazendal Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, South Africa. The fruit comes from a two-hectare vineyard on weathered granite, sand and quartz soils and was harvested in five separate passes. Whole-bunch pressed, the wine underwent spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts before maturation in seasoned 500-litre French oak barrels, with full malolactic fermentation. Bottled at 13% ABV in a 750ml bottle. 

TASTING NOTES:
Nose: Fresh pear skin, flint and pink grapefruit, with delicate stone-fruit and mineral notes.

Palate: Bright and precise, showing peach and nectarine with creamy pear, vibrant acidity and a lightly silky texture.

Finish: Fresh and persistent, with citrus pith and a fine mineral grip providing a clean, structured finish.
