DESCRIPTION

A permanent release from the Amrut distillery in Bengaluru, India, first introduced in 2016. Matured using a distinctive double maturation approach, first in ex-bourbon casks before being transferred into Oloroso sherry butts and then returned to bourbon casks for a final period. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 57.1%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Rich dried fruits, sultanas, cherry, with hints of vanilla and spice.

Palate: Full-bodied, with candied fruit, dark chocolate, warm spices, and toasted nuts.

Finish:  Long and warming, lingering on sherry fruit, oak, and gentle caramel sweetness.
