An independent bottling of Tomatin from Douglas Laing's The Vault range. Distilled in December 1995, matured in refill hogshead for 21 years before being bottled in January 2017. Only 580 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%.
Nose: Opens with soft spices, barley sugar and a gristy cereal quality.
Palate: Chewy and amazingly sweet with vanilla and maple syrup.
Finish: The long finish is clean, light and still shows its barley, but seek out the honey and gentle cough drop spices too.
