Nose: Interplay of cherries, roasted nuts, Christmas fruit cake, smoke that reminds of barbequed meat, and subtle orange.

Finish: Remarkably complex, the mouthfeel is warm and lingering with subtle peat and a savoury, smooth finish.

Another Andy Watts hit!

"I was fortunate enough to get a sneak preview of this a year prior to release - it was good then, but with a bit more time it really have developed beautifully. The colour in the bottle is lovely - an amazing rubyish type colour, really catches the eye. I gets lots of lovely glazed. smoked meat, fruit chews (cherry) on the nose. In the mouth, more of that amazing lovely red fruit, a hint of smoke/peat, some grape, a touch of spice from the Shiraz. Nice and big and just layers your mouth and tongue. So much going on here. The finish is long, very long, for me those fruits stay, bit of the spice, touch of smoke, and nice and warming. Really brilliant release this number 5!!"

Another Master’s classic!

"Andy and the Three Ships team have done it once again! Wine cask finishing is not easy, and somewhat of a balancing act, but the Shiraz cask has added lovely red fruit and spice nuance without overpowering the classic Three Ships spirit backbone that we know and love! The nose is a bit muted at first, but give it some time and you are awarded with flavor and a clear tannic/ wine note along with those red fruits. The palate is tongue tingling, rich and velvety smooth, with loads of red berries and pepper leading into a long, warming and soft smoky finish. Another classic, good value-for- money, easy drinking Three Ships!"

Delicious, balanced and sweet

"Another hit dram from Three Ships! It's a little lighter than previous Master's Collection releases, less spice, alcohol punch and smoke (yet still plenty of flavour to enjoy). But the well executed balance of sweet berries and citrus with soft peat and baking spices is such a delight when you really spend time with it. A great every day, every occasion whiskey. If previous years' releases have been too intense for you then give this one a go!"

Tasty and Smooth

"Another very good dram by Andy Watts. Hardly pick up the extra alcohol, it is super smooth. Hints of fruits like prunes on the nose with lovely warm spicy notes. Very welcoming on the nose. Palate is rich, full of ripe red dark fruits on entry, spicy mid-palate almost like black pepper with just a hint of smoke on the finish. Really smooth long lingering finish. It's a must buy whisky not necessarily for the collection but to enjoy😂!"
