Rooster Rojo tequila is produced at Fabrica de Tequilas Finos distillery, located in Jalisco, Mexico, at the base of Volcán de Tequila. Crafted from 100% blue weber agave which is pit-roast in an underground oven for 48 hours using heated stones and special firewood. The agave is first cut, then covered with dried agave fiber and sealed with moistened earth. The intensely smoked agave is balanced with traditionally cooked agave, fermented and double-distilled then matured in oak barrels for over two months. Bottled at 40%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Smoked wood, leather, roasted agave

Palate: Pleasant sensation of agave and spices

Finish: Warm and smoky.
