Green Spot
"My Ffvourite pot still. pretty unique and interesting. Good to try, especially if you're used to drinking Scotch."
Part of Irish Distillers’ single pot still range. Produced specifically for Dublin grocer Mitchell and Sons, this no-age-statement (NAS) whiskey was once only available in Dublin. The name comes from a practice of marking different ages of maturing barrels of whiskey with a dab of paint. Approximately a quarter of the whisky was matured in ex-sherry casks. Bottled at 43%.
Nose: Fresh aromatic oils and spices with orchard fruits and barley on a background of toasted wood.
Palate: Full spicy body. A hint of cloves along with the fruity sweetness of green apples, rounded off with toasted oak.
Finish: Lingering flavours of spices and barley.
