A limited edition from Glen Scotia in Campbeltown, released annually to coincide with the Campbeltown Malts Festival. Drawn from Glen Scotia's rare medium peated spirit — produced for only a few weeks each year — matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks for seven years before a six-month finish in first-fill Ruby Port casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 53.9%.
Nose: Sweet peat, ripe red cherry and creamy vanilla fudge.
Palate: Juicy mandarin, blackcurrant jam and layers of rich smoky embers.
Finish: Cinnamon and clove spice, coastal salinity and lingering peat smoke.
