DESCRIPTION

Creation Ridge Grenache Noir 2024 is a single-varietal Grenache from Creation Wines in the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge, Walker Bay. A new addition to the Ridge range, it is produced from the oldest Grenache vines in the Hemel-en-Aarde, planted in 2003. The wine emphasises concentrated fruit and the character of its cool, elevated vineyard site, with oak deliberately kept understated. The 2024 shows notable depth and structure while retaining Grenache’s characteristic perfume and supple texture. (Bottle size 750ml).

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Fragrant and floral, with rose petals, red cherry and bramble complemented by subtle Asian five-spice.

Palate: Concentrated red fruit with plum, red cherry and bramble, supported by understated oak. Velvety in texture with youthful, firm tannins providing structure and depth.

Finish: Persistent and structured, with lingering red fruit, gentle spice and a firm tannic grip suggesting good maturation potential.
