A single cask release from the closed Coleburn distillery, by independent bottler Gordon & Macphail (G&M) in their Rare Old range. Distilled in 1972, matured for 41 years in a refill American oak hogshead and bottled in 2013. Only 214 bottles were produced. Bottled at 46%.

Nose: Strawberry and blackcurrant aromas initially, hints of toasted malt and almond develop.

Palate: Black pepper with grapefruit and raspberry flavours.

Finish: A subtle hint of oak.
