DESCRIPTION
Following on from the distillery’s 10th anniversary 10 Year Old release in 2024, this expression represents the first of an annual release from the Ardnamurchan distillery on the west coast of the Highlands. Matured in 54 ex-bourbon barrels (95%) and 2 ex-sherry hogsheads (5%) that were originally filled with 52% unpeated spirit and 48% peated spirit. 16,380 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46.8%.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Coconut, oat biscuits and zesty orange peel, layered with salty sea air, bonfire leaves, hints of strawberry laces and fresh mint.
Palate: Rich and creamy, showing custard creams and vanilla wafers, balanced by coastal brine and gentle, earthy smoke.
Finish: Lingering and warming, with smoky maritime notes that slowly fade.
