DESCRIPTION

Trizanne Elim Blend 2022 is produced from vineyards in the cool-climate ward of Elim, renowned for its maritime influence and piercing minerality. The blend comprises Sauvignon Blanc (60%) and Semillon (40%), harvested between the second and fourth weeks of February 2022. Grapes were whole-bunch pressed and naturally fermented in a mix of new and seasoned French oak barrels. Extended lees contact during primary fermentation added texture and complexity, with the wine remaining on its lees for ten months before blending. Bottled in December 2022 under natural cork, with a limited production of 3,640 bottles. Bottled at 12.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Expressive and layered, with lime zest, white florals and gentle herbal nuances lifted by subtle oak spice.

Palate: Refined and mineral-driven, showing the hallmark Elim salinity with citrus and stone fruit depth. Lees ageing adds weight and texture, balancing freshness with mid-palate richness.

Finish: Long and precise, with taut acidity and a chalky mineral line. The interplay of fruit and spice promises elegance and ageing potential.
