DESCRIPTION

A permanent expression from George Dickel (and one that rarely makes it to SA) produced at Cascade Hollow Distilling Co. in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Made from a mashbill of 84% corn, 8% rye and 8% malted barley using the sour mash process, then mellowed through charcoal before maturation in new charred American oak barrels — the Lincoln County Process that distinguishes Tennessee whisky from bourbon. Bottled at 40%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Sweet corn, vanilla, and light oak with hints of caramel.

Palate: Soft and mellow with gentle spice, toffee, and nutty undertones.

Finish: Clean and warming, with lingering vanilla and subtle oak notes.
