DESCRIPTION

Creation Ridge Pinot Noir 2025 is a premium cool-climate Pinot Noir from Creation Wines in the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge, Walker Bay. Formerly known as the Creation Reserve range, the Ridge collection was renamed to emphasise the elevated vineyard sites and distinctive terroir of the appellation. The 2025 vintage follows what Creation describes as an exceptional growing season, with healthy fruit and favourable conditions throughout harvest. Produced from Pinot Noir grown on the estate’s ancient shale-derived soils and influenced by cooling Atlantic breezes, the wine is crafted for complexity, elegance and maturation potential. TASTING NOTES

Nose: Bright red fruit and black cherry with subtle earthy notes, dried fruit, delicate spice and hints of black tea.

Palate: Smooth and layered, with ripe red berries and darker cherry fruit complemented by savoury earthiness and piquant spice. Supple tannins provide structure while retaining the elegant, velvety character typical of the Ridge Pinot Noir.

Finish: Long and refined, with lingering red fruit, gentle spice and fine, persistent tannins suggesting good maturation potential.
