More from Moutai Baijiu
A permanent expression from Kweichow Moutai in Moutai Town, Guizhou Province, released as part of the Moutai Prince series. It uses the same water source and grain as the flagship Kweichow Moutai: locally grown glutinous sorghum and wheat, made using the traditional sauce-aroma (jiangxiang) method with a wheat-based qu starter. A shorter distillation cycle than the flagship gives a lighter, fresher, fruitier style. Bottled at 53%. (Bottle size 500ml)
Nose: Rich aromas of fermented grains, dried fruits and toasted cereals, accompanied by delicate herbal notes and subtle floral undertones.
Palate: Smooth and full-bodied, with flavours of sweet grain, honey, gentle spice and earthy undertones. A distinctive savoury character adds depth and complexity.
Finish: Long and warming, with lingering notes of grain sweetness, subtle spice and a delicate hint of smokiness
