DESCRIPTION

A permanent expression from the Macallan distillery in Speyside, released as part of their Sherry Oak Collection, with revised packaging introduced in 2025. This 12 year old expression is matured entirely in sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain, with an approximate split of 80% American oak and 20% European oak. Naturally coloured and bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Dried fruit and candied citrus peel with oak, balanced by hints of vanilla, ginger and nutmeg.

Palate: Smooth and medium-bodied, opening with raisins, sultanas and ginger syrup, giving way to sweet cinnamon spice, gentle oak and a touch of vanilla.

Finish: Long and warming, with sweet dried fruits, oak and lingering ginger spice.
