"The oak influence is prominent and striking but not overbearing for such an old bourbon. It's delicious. Strong, but fresh, and not bitterly tannic. Glad to have access to this interesting dram. Thanks for bringing it over, WB!"

"Rare stuff in SA, single barrel bourbon. If you have never had the pleasure of trying one, do yourself a favour and grab one of these. One of the best noses ever toffee, fudge, caramel, vanilla - you get the gist. In the mouth big and bold but it does not feel like a 56 percenter, again spicy, sweetness there too, nice and thick, and then a long finish, spicy, and smooth. This really is a stunning whiskey, I hope and trust we will see more like this soon from the WB team."
"Delicious dram, you almost forget that it sits at 56.3% abv. Nose has a lovely fudge and caramel upfront with subtlt floral elements like elderflower for me personally. Palate lovely oily richness, fudge on entry then toffee on the midpalate with a beautiful lingering oaky finish."
