A small batch release of Machir Bar done exclusively for us! This collaborative vatting was offered to us by Kilchoman and we of course jumped at the opportunity. Matured in 85% ex-bourbon barrels and 15% ex-Oloroso sherry butts. Expect the Machir Bay that you know and love, but with more nuance and depth provided by the extra sherry casks and small batch. Only 120 bottles produced. Bottled at 46%.

"This collabo is outstanding, one would say its a 1st fill ex-bourbon cask coz the mouthfeel on this this whisky is richer and rounded. Lots of vanilla notes coming through. The Sherry is evident in how it balances of the peat note giving it a semi-bodied feel and texture on the tongue. This is a definitely exciting dram."

"I love Kilchoman as much as I love a good peated dram. This vatting is very easy and good drinking. The nose is lemony and smoky and very inviting with a great big amount of peat on the palate and finish. It is a beautiful whisky and worth buying!!"
