Crystallum The Agnes Chardonnay 2024 is a 100% Chardonnay produced by Peter-Allan Finlayson of Crystallum, using fruit from multiple cool-climate vineyard sites across the Overberg, Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge and Ceres Plateau. Whole bunches are pressed directly, with the juice naturally fermented in 228- and 500-litre French oak barrels and foudres. The wine is matured in barrel for approximately 9 months, with the emphasis on older oak to preserve freshness and vineyard character. Bottled at approximately 13.5% ABV.  (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Yellow stone fruit, white peach and citrus with delicate floral notes, flint and a subtle seashell minerality.

Palate: Full and textured yet precise, showing Golden Delicious apple, lime and yellow stone fruit with touches of salted caramel and beeswax, balanced by bright acidity and a chalky mineral character.

Finish: Long, fresh and saline, with lingering citrus, mineral and gently savoury notes.
