Taittinger Prestige Rosé is a blend which is more complex and costly to produce. A quantity of still red wine (15%) produced from the best Pinot Noirs from Montagne de Reims and Les Riceys is added to the final blend to give this cuvée its unmistakable colour and vibrant intensity on the palate. A high proportion of Chardonnay (30%) completes the blend. Bottled at 12.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Aromas of red fruits (freshly crushed wild raspberry, cherry and blackcurrant).
Palate: The flavours are reminiscent of fresh, crisp red fruits. Lively, fruity, fresh and elegant.
Finish: Long and fresh.
Founded in 1734 and owning 280 hectares of vineyards in Champagne, France, Champagne Taittinger is one of the few remaining family-owned and operated Champagne Houses.
