This VSOP Cognac from Frapin is produced from ugni blanc grapes that are grown, distilled, aged and bottled at Chateau Fontpinot, a 240 hectare single family estate established in 1270 and located in the region’s Grande Champagne cru. Distilled on the lees for a longer finish, and aged in Limousin oak barrels for a minimum of 4 years. Bottled at 40%.
Nose: The bouquet is complex, fruity with orange and floral with dried flowers. Discreet notes of vanilla are revealed. This Frapin VSOP offers a wonderful aromatic intensity.
Palate: Balanced with persistent flavours, including fruity orange notes.
Finish: Spicy with notes of cinnamon or pepper.
