DESCRIPTION

Frapin 1270 Grande Champagne Cognac is produced exclusively from the family’s Premier Cru estate vineyards in Grande Champagne, using 100% Ugni Blanc grapes. The 240 hectares of vines lie on chalky, limestone soils, identical to those in Reims, offering finesse, minerality and ageing potential. After harvest, the wine is distilled over fine lees and matured in French Limousin oak, first in new barrels for depth, then in seasoned casks for balance. Bottled at 40%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Straw-golden, with aromas of vine blossom and lime tree flower, layered with gentle vanilla and toasted oak.

Palate: Round and balanced, with vanilla and soft toast underpinned by floral freshness and subtle sweetness.

Finish: Harmonious, light and short, with toasted wood and vanilla melting into floral notes and a touch of warmth.
