DESCRIPTION

A limited edition from the Ardbeg distillery on Islay, released in 2025 as the third instalment in their Smoketrails series, produced for Global Travel Retail. Matured in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in Cabernet Sauvignon red wine casks from Napa Valley, California, and bottled in August 2024. Bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 1 Litre)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Rose water, smoked plums and jasmine, with baking bread and menthol.

Palate: Smoked plums, espresso coffee and eucalyptus.

Finish: Smoke lingers with dark fruit sweetness and savoury wine notes, fading to a warm, lightly tannic end.
