Port!
"Very easy and approachable while still being richly bodied. A little youthful on the nose, but let it settle down a bit, and you will be rewarded with a mixture of dark and tropical fruits, sweet spices, and vanilla. Resinous and raisiny on the palate with a nice mouthfeel, followed by a finish that is not dry or very spicy, but still very tangible and juicy, and pretty long."

Very solid whiskey - lovely easy drinker
"The description accompanying this bottle says it all. We have strong tropical notes and a lot of honey coming through on the nose and palate. It is complex but I feel like this is one of those that can be honed in on and figured out quickly. Some sweeter hints reminiscent of candy floss is also definitely something that can be picked up. Have not experience a lot of Kavalan but from what I have this is a very pleasant bottle to have experienced!"

Kavalan Concertmaster
"People talk about master distiller Ian Chang in almost hushed tones, ever since the Solist won the world whisky award a few years ago. As I have heard it told, he lived in silence for a year just to better understand the sound of a sip of single malt. This is the result."

Mr
"Looks like a bottle of jaggermeister... was bottled in Port casks... made in Taiwan... but it is Whisky! If that doesn't make you curious, the taste surely will. Defintiely worth a try"

Weirdly, I can't get on board.
"Smooth it is. To my taste, it is not. Speed aged in a tropical climate, just 3 years on the port casks. Perhaps that knowledge negatively primed my reaction; but I didn't get anything I liked from this whisky, aside from it slipping away quickly, so that I could follow suit."

Taiwanese gem
"I was introduced to a bottle of Kavalan Concertmaster by a friend who is largely a Japanese whisky enthusiast. I had no idea at the time that the craft of creating superb single malts was so far and wide across the world. Raisins dominate the nose, with hints of tobacco and pepper. The palate is a bombshell of oak beautifully married with cinnamon and a hint of stone fruits. The finish is long, and alternates between molasses, raisins, and oak."

Quality
"Ask anyone who's ever tasted this, this is a really special bottle. It's incredibly smooth. Speaking for myself, the smell and taste reminded me of a white cake with fresh, fresh cut fruits. Basically like a rich granny's tea party."

A creative whisky
"As a Creative Director and designer, my eyes were drawn to the label first. Only after tasting this delectable treat of a whisky did I truly understand it's beauty. Subtle notes of honey and passion fruit, graciously followed by the complex palette of nutmeg, slight cinnamon, toffee and vanilla. Brilliantly enjoyed with someone who knows what they want in life"

Love me sum Port Finish
"Red fruit, vanilla, spice. Fruity with candyfloss and pepper on the finish. Lovely dram!"

Can’t go wrong
"You can’t go wrong with almost Kavalans and this one is no exception!"
