Woodford Reserve is made from a mixture of pot still spirit distilled at the company's Woodford Reserve Distillery in Woodford County, Kentucky, and column still spirits from the Brown Forman Distillery in Shively, Kentucky. The mashbill is approximately 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malted barley and matured for at least 6 years in American oak. Bottled at 43.2%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Rich dried fruit, hints of mint and oranges covered with a dusting of cocoa. Faint vanilla and tobacco spice.

Taste: Rich, chewy and rounded, with citrus, cinnamon and cocoa. Toffee, caramel, chocolate and spice notes abound.

Finish: Silky smooth, almost creamy at first with a long, warm satisfying tail.

There's A Good Whisky Somewhere There...

"Many years back I bought this bottle on a very limited budget - and mostly because it had my name on it. I had just got into experimenting with bourbon (and whisky in general) so I wasn't sure what my preference was at that point. All I knew, after pouring a dram, was that I really did NOT like this. I tried palming it off on friends to try and get rid of it but we only got halfway before everyone called it quits. This got stuck away in the cabinet and forgotten about. Fast forward one year and I thought I'd take it out to finish it as I needed the space. It was beautiful, and I would happily rebuy a bottle if that's how it came. Mouthwatering cotton candy and full of flavor. TL:DR ✅you don't mind decanting your whisky and letting it air for a long time ❌you want something to enjoy immediately"
