DESCRIPTION

A permanent expression in the core range from the Wolfburn distillery in the Highlands, first released in 2018. Matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a high strength of 58%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Fruit blossoms with dried apples and light oak along with traces of raisins, dates and fruit cake.

Palate: Flavours burst onto the palate, rich and sweet, including maple syrup, dark chocolate, almonds and raisins.

Finish: Lingers nicely with hints of vanilla gently fading away and a warming trace of caramel at the end.
