DESCRIPTION

Introduced in 2018 to replace the discontinued 10 year old, Tamdhu 12yo is matured exclusively in a combination of first-fill and refill American and European Oloroso sherry casks sourced from Jerez, Spain. Naturally coloured and bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Rich and enticing; iced cinnamon rolls, orange boiled sweets, fresh sweet oak with raisins and a faint hint of mint.

Palate: Silky texture that coats the mouth with banana, berry jam, malt biscuit and classic sherry oak depth.

Finish: Pleasantly long and balanced with ground spice, dried fruit and soft Scottish tablet, finally unveiling the merest whisper of cask char.
