A single cask release from the Smögen distillery in Sweden, by independent bottler Adelphi. Distilled in 2013, matured for 10 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel and bottled in 2023. Only 232 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a natural cask strength of 58.1%.

Nose: Wet barley, hessian sack, bottom of fireplace in the morning, fresh mint, bark mulch, savoury rosemary, gunpowder, sea spray, farmyard, cow shed.

Palate: Tobacco leaf, sweaty leather, oily grain, Szechuan peppercorn, bitter lemon, flinty and fusty.

Finish: Vivid, long, rich.
