DESCRIPTION

An premium, small-batch African agave spirit handcrafted in KwaZulu-Natal. Sango Blanco is produced from 100% African agave, hand-harvested from the desert plains of the Karoo and from cultivated Blue Webber agave grown in KZN, where agave has thrived for more than a century. Mature agave (5–8 years) is selected for ripeness, cooked slowly in both pit and oven roasters, then crushed, wild-fermented with African yeast, and distilled first in copper pot stills and twice more in column stills. Unaged and additive-free. Bottled at 40%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Soft and subtle with sweet agave, gentle earthiness and hints of bell pepper.

Palate: Smooth, grassy sweetness with sparks of green chilli spice and a touch of chocolate.

Finish: Short, clean and lightly sweet with lingering vegetal spice.
