"Not bad, definitely a crowd pleaser to a certain demographic, some of which may not be too familiar to whiskey - I'm sure this is because of Connor McGreggor and his clever, yet misleading marketing giving the impression that this is a 12yr old Whiskey. That being said, it is easy to drink, what Irish whisky isn't ;)"
Try this totally blind
"This was in a line up of five whiskies all tasted blind. Of the four Irish ones in the line up, majority chose this as their winner. I did not (my winner was Red Spot 15), but I still ranked this one second and would happily drink and enjoy this. Nothing overly complex here, but do not let the association with Connor put you off (like it did me). At the price, this is lovely stuff."
