DESCRIPTION

A Cap Classique from sparkling winemaker Pieter Ferreira in Franschhoek, made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sourced from Western Cape vineyards. Bottle fermented in the traditional method and matured on the lees, it is made in a dry Extra Brut style. Bottled at 12.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Delicate aromas of citrus blossom, fresh lemon and white flowers, complemented by hints of grapefruit, red berries and freshly baked brioche.

Palate: Fresh and finely textured, with lively citrus acidity, subtle red fruit, mineral notes and a delicate creamy mousse. Gentle brioche richness adds depth without overpowering the wine's freshness.

Finish: Long, crisp and dry, with lingering citrus peel, saline minerality and subtle toasted brioche notes.
