A single cask, single grain release from the North British distillery, bottled by Douglas Laing under their Directors' Cut range. Distilled in 1961 and matured for 50 years in a refill hogshead. Only 123 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a natural cask strength of 55.3%.
Nose: Autumn fruits, oak, coffee, cedar and tobacco.
Palate: Ripe fruit, mocha, cough drops and candy floss.
Finish: All too fast! Yet warmly spiced.
