A single cask release from the Mortlach distillery in Speyside, bottled by Adelphi independent bottlers. Distilled in 1986, matured in a single bourbon hogshead and bottled in 2020. Only 224 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a natural strength of 54.2%.
Nose: Baked bananas, marzipan, mead, fruit salad sweeties, peach, apricot and linseed oil.
Palate: Honeycomb, walnut praline, hokey pokey ice cream and sea salt.
Finish: A savoury, herbaceous, and extremely lengthy finish.
