DESCRIPTION

Made from 100% Nebbiolo, grown in sandy loam and weathered shale soils with controlled irrigation to manage vine stress. Canopies were carefully handled to ensure even sunlight exposure, and the grapes were harvested at optimum ripeness in early March. Fermentation was carried out in rotor tanks with regular turning every 4–6 hours over 6–7 days, followed by pressing and full malolactic conversion in the barrel. The wine matured for 16 months in a combination of 70% French and 30% Hungarian oak before bottling. Bottled at 14%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Expressive and layered, showing dark red cherry, cranberry, and wild strawberry, lifted by floral hints of rose and violet. Earthy undertones and subtle baking spice add depth and intrigue.

Palate: Medium-bodied and finely textured, with red fruit purity at its core—cranberry, cherry, and a touch of prune—balanced by notes of cedar, leather, and savoury spice.

Finish: Long and elegant, with sweet, rounded tannins and a bright seam of acidity carrying flavours of red fruit, spice, and earth. A lingering echo of florals and savoury complexity.
