DESCRIPTION
A South African exclusive single cask from the Loch Lomond distillery in the Highlands. Distilled in June 2014 from unpeated malt, fully matured in a first-fill American oak hogshead and bottled in March 2022. Only 234 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 61.1%. (Bottle size 750ml)
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Opens with sweet malted barley and honeyed peach, followed by soft caramel and poached pear. A lift of zesty lemon peel and desiccated coconut adds brightness.
Palate: Rich and expressive, carrying through the honeyed stone fruit and caramel notes. Creamy coconut sit alongside vibrant citrus zest and a malty core.
Finish: Long and warming, with lingering malt sweetness, citrus oils, and a gentle coconut note fading slowly.
