DESCRIPTION

A permanent expression from the Lagg distillery on the Isle of Arran, released in 2023 as the second core range expression from the distillery. Produced from Concerto barley peated to 50ppm, matured in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished for around six months in Oloroso sherry hogsheads sourced from producer Miguel Martín in Jerez. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 55%.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Dark chocolate and spiced red berries.

Palate: Rich and mouth-watering, with subtle notes of charred embers and hazelnut.

Finish: Charred oak, smoke, hazelnut, dark chocolate, sweet spice.
