DESCRIPTION

Made from 61% Grenache Blanc, 21% Grenache Gris, 12% Verdelho and 6% Muscat d’Alexandrie, grown on granite and schist soils in the coastal region of the Western Cape. Hand-harvested, naturally fermented, then matured in 500 L French oak barrels for 10 months. Bottled at 12.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: The bouquet is generous and floral notes of white blossom and honeysuckle mingle with nectarine, pear and subtle orchard-fruit scents. A hint of juicy pineapple and salted bread dough adds intrigue and complexity.

Palate: Medium-bodied but with good concentration and texture, peach and melon fruit dominate, supported by citrus peel and a light tropical undercurrent.

Finish: The finish is elegant and fresh with crisp acidity that gives lift, and a subtle chalky/mineral quality at the end.
